L's 5th Birthday

-
Yesterday we took this motley crew to The Great Wolf Lodge to celebrate Loralie's 5th Birthday!

They were super excited about the water park!

We had Pizza and cake...

 And opened presents, of course!

Roman enjoyed the food part emensely, but gave a resounding "don wan it" to the pool.  He only stayed for a few minutes before being escorted home by NeeNee.

Overall, a great birthday for our baby girl.  She is growing up so fast!

It's amazing how your life can change in a single minute. One minute you are laughing and having fun, and the next minute your legs have given out from under you and you are sobbing uncontrollably in the middle of the Tropicana casino while everyone looks at you like you are insane. One minute you are on a date with your husband and enjoying your vacation, and the next minute you are listening to the phone call that will flip your life on it's ear. We had a great trip and decided to spend our last night in Vegas listening to a comedian. We had literally been laughing for the last hour and were just walking out of the theater when Calebs phone rang. I knew right away tha...

L: um, kind of like Cinderella one M: Who is your favorite princess? L: Jasmine M: What is your favorite thing to eat? L: Um, kind of like chocolate oatmeal and tomato soup M: Where is your favorite place to go? L: Um, kind of like a restaurant like Chick sa way! M: Who is your favorite person? L: You! And Daddy and Roman M: Who is your best friend? L: Nee Nee M: What is your favorite book? L: Mmmm ... Princess kind M: What is your favorite color? L: Pink M: What is your favorite song? L: Um, a princess one! M: What is your favorite outfit? L: Um, just like dresses M: What do you want to be when you grow up? L: Um, just like a princess. ...

Simmin' in the Simmin' Pool!

So, our outdoor baby has a new love of her life- "Simmin' in the simmin' pool!" I think she would be out there all day if I let her! In fact, I have to watch her really carefully when we are just playing in the backyard, cause she has been known to crawl in by herself fully dressed! She likes to splash and kick, and play with her watering can and rubber duckies. Mama is going to have a good tan by the end of this summer!
