Spelling Tuesday

Hi Everyone! Mom, Dad and big sis got to see me today on the big screen in the Dr.'s office! I wasn't cooperating very well, so it took kind of a LONG time. I didn't like when the lady kept poking me, trying to get me to move! Here's my sweet little profile! I am waving "HI" to everyone! Mom looked at this picture very closely, and thought she could see some boy parts... what do you think? Everyone will get to find out if I am a "Roman" or a "Aria" at the party on Wednesday night. Last night was out last official wedding at the Tuscan. It was hard to say goodbye. I feel like yet another chapter in my life is closing. Here are some pics of our fun staff and some things I will remember. Will, our chef... Belinda, our kooky new zealander dishwasher... Stacey, our bartender extrodinaire... Jon and Pooh Bear, dining room drones... Haha... The "war board" Still has my Dads handwriting on it... Mom's task list... How Andrea spent her time there... Hehe, j/k... The two boss ladies! I look like a cow, but mom looks glamorous as usual... So that's it I guess. Wonder what the next chapter of life will bring?

Half way done cooking this baby! We have the sonogram on Monday, but Caleb and I won't be finding out the sex of the baby at the appointment. We are going to have the technician write the gender down and put it in a sealed envelope, and we will find out with everyone else at our Sonogram Reveal Party on Wednesday night! I am getting really excited! I feel like it is a boy, but I would be happy either way! We are working our LAST WEDDING this Friday night out at the Tuscan Ballroom. We have made it a whole year since my Dad's death, which just blows me away. I have mixed feelings about leaving the Tuscan. The work is so stressful, and I will not miss that. But I will miss being a business owner, being a part of an industry, having a job that contributes to our families finances. It is also sad to say goodbye to the dream that my Dad and I started. I will miss spending so much time with my mom, but I look forward to lots of family get togethers with no talk about w...

We spent our last day of vacation on the beach! Loralie was a little hesitant at first to get into the ocean, but after a while she got the hang of it! We splashed and swam, built sandcastles, and lounged in the shade. The weather was perfect and it was one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to- white sand, blue water, and not a hotel or highway in sight! Daddy tried out surfing, and managed to catch a wave or two! Overall, an excellent end to our vacation. We had a great time, and made lots of memories. But as the saying goes, there's no place like home!

By saturday we were ready for a slower paced day with NO LINES. Caleb and Curtis got up bright and early to go play golf. Me and Candy and Loralie went shopping at the cheesy souviner stores. After lunch and naps Caleb and Curtis took Loralie to the pool, while me and Candy got pedicures and went to the worlds wierdest flea market. This place was like a Mexican mall, selling everything from purses to teeth whitening! Then we ate dinner and headed to Disney Quest, which is this huge amazing arcade. It has five levels of video games, including dance dance revolution and virtual magic carpet rides! We had a lot of fun just being silly and playing together. Loralie did try the virtual reality, but she wanted out early, fiending a potty break. She was so tired on the drive home that she was laughing hysterically at everything. Silly girl!

Yesterday was our second day at the Magic Kingdom, and this time we got to go with our friends Curtis and Candy! We all had a great time! Loralie got to meet ALL of her princesses, and I got some super cute pictures to add later! I never really got why it was such a big deal to stand in line to meet characters at Disney, but it was different than what I was picturing. You get to go into a room that is totally decorated with their storybook decore and they spend several minutes talking and interacting with the kids. Loralie was in awe. She would go right up to them and hand them her autograph book. She answered all their questions and commented on their outfits. It was just precious. They made her feel so grown up and special, it was so fun to watch! After we met Cinderella, Ariel and Belle we exited through a stategically placed gift shop. Loralie spied these Cinderella shoes and flipped out. She never really asks for stuff in stores, or if she does and I say no she gives up...

This morning we got up at the butt crack of dawn to attend a timeshare sales pitch so we could get discount Disney tickets. We just brought Loralie with us to the "brainwashing" and she was a very good acomplice- running around, going through the lady's papers, eating candy she found on the floor and asking to go potty about a million times. I think they were happy to see us go, and we were happy to have escaped without buying anything! Luckily, that didn't take too long, so afterwards we headed to the POOL! This resort has two really great pools with waterslided and things for Loralie to play. She was kind of in a grouchy mood though, and acting kind of tired. Two days in a row of waking up early. So she did not fight us when we told her it was time to head back to the room for lunch and a nap! After nap we headed to Disneys Hollywood Theme park. We knew that this park would have the least things for Loralie to do, so that is why it only go...

Waking up early+ lots of excitement+ missed nap= We landed safely, got our rental car, and headed for our home away from home! After our plane ride was over, Loralie kept asking, "where's my airplane?". Apparently she though we would get to keep it! Friends Curtis and Candy met us at our resort and took us all out for dinner to celebrate Caleb's birthday. Loralie had been so good and sat so still all day, that by the end of dinner she was pretty much running in circles! We headed back to the resort and Loralie finally got to check out the POOL! They had a really great toddler pool that she could swim in all by herself. There was another little girl swimming that was about Loralie's age, and they became instant buddies. She had a great time! She hit the hay tonight and was pretty much instantly out! It's a good thing, cause tomorrow we head out for another day of adventures!

After a six am wake up call, a quick shower and the usual last minute packing scramble, the Lenz's were on the road and starting our Orlando adventure. Just as we were congradulating ourselves on exiting a whole ten minutes ahead of schedule, Loralie piped up from the backseat with a sleepy "where's little baby?". Screech. Turn around and take two. The rest of the car ride was pretty uneventful, with Loralie only interjecting the occasional random thought... "did you guys know that elephants can't climb trees?". "Look! An amiracle flag! (American)". But we made it to the Springfield airport with all of our crap in plenty of time. Here's our big girl with her new backpack and, of course, little baby. Be prepared for an onslaught of updates this week!

Caleb and the other guys in his squad participated in the "Warrior Dash" on Saturday. It was a four mile run with lots of obstacles like climbing walls, rope bridges and LOTS of mud! Basically just a way for boys to show off how manly they are and celebrate at finish line with beer and BBQ!
