Spelling Tuesday

On our last day the sun actually peeked out!  We got some putt putt and a nice walk in before we left! Hoping spring sticks around!

Day four of rain... boooo.  Board games started us off. Then we went to Fun Mountain and bowled under water! Loralie loved all the Mermaids! Bumper cars were a big hit as was laser tag. And then Aunt Chelle, AKA best Aunt Ever, cake and took the munchkins off our hands so that we could have some mature grown up time.  See pictures below.

We woke up to another rainy day so we went exploring. The natural history museum at Top of the Rock was really cool. Then we rented golf carts and went on a fun ride in the mountains! We explored a cave! A great day!

We woke up to pouring down rain so we had to make our own (indoor) adventures. We started out at the Butterfly palace .  Loralie was only slightly terrified of the butterflies. There was a jungle ropes course. Roman was a regular butterfly whisperer And a mirror maze which was pretty fun! Then I got to read by a cozy fire while Caleb took the kids fishing.

I always love a good spring break road trip! This year we headed to Table Rock Lake to stay at Big Cedar Lodge. The kids wanted to check out the pool first thing! The scenery is just lovely but it looks like the weather is not going to cooperate! Rain for days in the forecast!
