April is Almost Over???

Image
We have gotten into the groove of this sheltering in place business. We play a lot of Monopoly Deal.  We went on a little field trip to the Shoal Creek Living History museum. Nice change of scenery.  Loralie has gotten interested in photography.  Spring is in full bloom and the weather has been beautiful.  Roman sewed a leather portfolio. Caleb dyed my hair.  Smithville lake is a good place to social distance. Loralie built a working claw arm. So basically we miss everyone and are low level bored a lot but we are safe and fed and blessed to be together.

Easter While Sheltering in Place

This was definitely an interesting Easter. It was strange and sad to not have family over for egg hunts and meal time. And church was on YouTube. But we were together and we have so much to be thankful for. Loralie made her first carrot cake all by herself.

A Brand New Normal

Yesterday we got the news the Missouri Schools would continue distance through the end of the school year. Roman wasn’t that bummed but Loralie was.  I went a little crazy and dyed my hair pink. This is what my ladies bible study looks like now. Sigh. I miss being around real people. This is how we chat with our nieces!  Neville isn’t complaining about all the extra walks. A toast to our new normal. Thanks a lot Covid-19.
