Roman's 4th Birthday Party

Image
This little cutie asked for a Pete the Cat birthday party this year, so we decided to focus on the color mixing parts of the white shoes story and booked a party at Orange Easel School of Art. The first thing the kids did was throw paint-soaked cotton balls at a wall.  See why I didn't want to do this at home???  The kids were actually very well behaved and had a great time. Then they did a color mixing activity, smearing paint on their partners' hands.  As Pete the Cat would say, "It's all good." Next, the kids got to paint on their very own canvases like real artists.  They were all very serious about it. Then Roman opened his presents.  Yay!  Another Pete book! Romey blew out his candles and cupcakes and candy were had by all.  Love celebrating this little man.

Roman is Four

Last three-year-old selfie with Mom, because in the morning Roman woke up a big four-year-old! He got to bust through some streamers and eat doughnuts for breakfast. Later Daddy took both kids to FunRun to get some energy out. And we had birthday cupcakes waiting when they got home! His present from Mom and Dad... A cool dude drum set!  He was so serious about it too!  There may be music lessons in this kids future. Happy birthday little guy!  I am looking forward to FOUR.
