Pet Shop

Image
Loralie's class went on a field trip to the pet shop today. She was the only kid willing to kiss the ferret, but she said she liked the bunnies the best.   Check out their scared faces when they brought out the big snake!

Kindergarten Round Up

Image
Last night we took our squirrelly preschooler to KINDERGARTEN ROUND UP!  Can you believe it???  She skipped right off with the teachers and kids while the parents got a lecture on immunizations and pick up procedures.  When we went to pick her up she didn't want to leave, which is a pretty good sign.  Here's to hoping for a SLOW summer...

Irish Eyes are Smiling

We had a festive St. Patrick's day around here, starting with a slumber party with cousin Ada.  Needless to say there was very little slumbering going on!  We had green food all day, played with green play dough, and made rainbow necklaces.  Mommy is worn out!

So THIS is Happening...

We bought a camper!  Why yes, we do already have a camper but this is a BIGGER BETTER camper!  Features include a queen bed, bunk beds, a futon, a bankett that makes into a bed AND... A bathroom!!!  I will give you some good before and after pictures in a few weeks.

Sunny Weather

Image
Thank God for sunny weather this week!  My poor vitamin D deficient children were thrust out the door every single day. Whew!  We even made it to the park once this week.  Too bad it's supposed to snow tonight... Life in Missouri, baby!

Cupcakes with Ada

Image
We met up with Ada and Becca for a fun girls morning.   We took the rug rats to the city market for Smallcakes and had a delightful playdate.  When I told Loralie our plans she said, "I just got real tears in my eyes cause I am so happy cause Ada is so special to me."

This is Why My Husband is Awesome

I go to the grocery store and come home to a rock wall in the basement.  I go to the gym and come home to a shaving cream covered baby.  Let's just say I never know what I'm gonna come home to when Daddy is in charge!  But the kids love his crazy ideas, and I love that he has them!  Best.  Dad.  Ever.
