Vacation- Day 6

Image
More beach time today and then Candy and I went to a movie.  Paper Towns!  It was great! Then we went out to Sharky's to celebrate our last night in Florida!

Vacation Day 5

Image
We spent a quiet morning at the pool and then we were up for a post-nap adventure.  We headed to Golf World Marine Park to check out some sea animals. The dolphin show was really fun! Then we got to pet Sting Rays.  Loralie kept asking if she could get all the way in the tank. We may have a budding marine biologist on our hands!

Vacation- day 4

Day four we took to the open seas in a pontoon boat we rented. We sailed out to Shell Island, where we swam and played until our hearts content. A certain redhead got a little pink due to the fact that she claims she "doesn't believe in sunscreen."  Has to learn the hard way apparently. The dads fished, and we had several close encounters with dolphins (mommy and Loralie's favorite part!)

Vacation- Day 3

Another day of fun in the sun! We are going to be finding sand places for a long time. Then Caleb and I got to go on a special date night. We ate dinner right on the water.  I got crab legs... Yuuuummmm.  Then we went to Ripleys Believe it or Not. Here's me with the tallest man on earth.

Vacay- day 2

After a fun morning playing on the beach, we  Decided to take the kids to the happiest place on earth... And it isn't Disney! The Miracle Strip amusement park is this kitschy, 1960's carnival.  There were tons of rides for the kids, it was super cheap, an there were NO LINES! We rode everything!  Roman really loved the things he could drive (cars, boats, airplanes).  He didn't like the bumping on the bumper cars though. Caleb and Loralie did everything scary including a roller coaster and zip lining.  My little daredevil! We had such a great time!  The weather was perfect and the kids got crazy worn out, which is always a plus!

Florida Vacation, Part 1

Image
The Lenz Family hit the road and 15+ hours later we arrived in sunny Florida.  The kids did great in the car, sleeping through the night and playing nicely during daylight hours. We arrived in Panama City Beach around lunchtime and enjoyed lunch with the Bridges at Pineapple Willies, beachside. Then it was time to soak up some rays and enjoy the beach. These kids love the ocean! Roman wasn't too sure about the scary waves at first, but he got the hang of it. The weather has been perfect! And we love these crazy kids!  Vacation buddies!

Checking Stuff Off the List

Image
Summer is flying by!  The weather has been kind of chilly this week, so we got a chance to cross some non-pool activities off of the old Summer Fun List.  The kids liked smashing ice cubes with hammers.  Today it was rainy so we went bowling.  Both of our kids are bowling prodigies.  It is amazing to watch. Next week is VBS, and then we leave for our epic road trip to Florida for lots of fun in the sun.

Land of the Free

Happy Fourth of July from the Lenz Family!  We had a great day hanging out with neighbors, eating, swimming, and playing. NeeNee joined in the fun. The kids had a bike parade.  They decorated their bikes and then rode in a big circle. But as soon as roman saw this kid pull up in his police car he ditched his bike an jumped in.  Ps- never met that kid before.  Lol. I love doing life with these girls and their families!
