We started day 4 at my house... I mean, The Pittock Mansion. Then we went to the rose gardens, which was totally amazing. Then we went to the Japanese gardens. Also beautiful! We had tea at a tea house in the trees! Then we picked Grandma up and met up with some family for lunch at a cool Italian restaurant. After a good long chat with Grandma, we went to Multnoma Falls. We hiked up to the bridge. Then we had a relaxing dinner at the restaurant at the bottom of the falls. Great view and delicious food.

We started our day with another quick visit with Grandma (she did remember anything about the day before). Then we drove to Lebanon to visit my Grandpa Ken and Grandma Velma. Velma is battling cancer at 84 years old. She just had a double mastectomy and chemo, poor dear. Then we headed to the beach! We had a lovely lunch looking at the bay. Crab macaroni and cheese with truffle oil. Need I say more? The beach was cold but pretty. Another fun day in the books!

We arrived in Portland late on thursday night and managed to find our hotel all by ourselves! The next morning we started our adventure by touring some of our old stomping grounds, Including West TV and Hoky Trinity, my elementary schools. Then we went to visit Grabdma. We took her out to lunch and went for a walk along the river. Then me and mom hit the big city! I got to visit Powell’s! Largest independent bookstore in the world! I was in heaven. We were so tired by the time we got back to our hotel we ate dinner out of the vending machine and went right to bed!
