Labor Day

Today we decided to take advantage of our day off and headed to smithville lake to walk the trails and have a picnic. The butterflies and dragonflies were out of control and kept landing on us.


We tried to get Loralie to get in the stroller, but she kept saying "I walkin'!!!"


We had a nice picnic by the water. Loralie conked out in the car on the way home so it was a successful trip!

Simmin' in the Simmin' Pool!

So, our outdoor baby has a new love of her life- "Simmin' in the simmin' pool!" I think she would be out there all day if I let her! In fact, I have to watch her really carefully when we are just playing in the backyard, cause she has been known to crawl in by herself fully dressed! She likes to splash and kick, and play with her watering can and rubber duckies. Mama is going to have a good tan by the end of this summer!
