Spelling Tuesday

"You can't help respecting anybody who can spell TUESDAY, even if he doesn't spell it right; but spelling isn't everything. There are days when spelling Tuesday simply doesn't count." ~Winnie the Pooh

Goodbye

- August 26, 2010

It's amazing how your life can change in a single minute. One minute you are laughing and having fun, and the next minute your legs have given out from under you and you are sobbing uncontrollably in the middle of the Tropicana casino while everyone looks at you like you are insane. One minute you are on a date with your husband and enjoying your vacation, and the next minute you are listening to the phone call that will flip your life on it's ear. One minute you have a father, and the next minute you find out that he is gone. I am on an overnight flight right now, heading home from Las Vegas. This is not at all how I thought this blog post would go. Tonight was me and Calebs last night in Vegas. We were supposed to leave for home tomorrow morning. We had a great trip and decided to spend our last night in Vegas listening to a comedian. Raindrops on Roses and Whisker on Kittens...

- April 12, 2012

Last year, I asked Loralie to tell me all of her "favorites". I thought it would be fun to repeat the experiment each year and see how her answers change (or don't change!). Transcribed word for word: Me: What is your favorite toy? L: Um, just like my fairy barbie, tinkerbell and belle doll, puppy dogs M: What is your favorite movie? L: um, kind of like Cinderella one M: Who is your favorite princess? L: Jasmine M: What is your favorite thing to eat? L: Um, kind of like chocolate oatmeal and tomato soup M: Where is your favorite place to go? L: Um, kind of like a restaurant like Chick sa way! M: Who is your favorite person? L: You! And Daddy and Roman M: Who is your best friend? L: Nee Nee M: What is your favorite book? L: Mmmm ... Princess kind M: What is your favorite color? L: Pink M: What is your favorite song? L: Um, a princess one! M: What is your favorite outfit? L: Um, just like dresses M: What do you want to be when you grow up? L: Um, just like a princess. ...

Simmin' in the Simmin' Pool!

- June 10, 2010

So, our outdoor baby has a new love of her life- "Simmin' in the simmin' pool!" I think she would be out there all day if I let her! In fact, I have to watch her really carefully when we are just playing in the backyard, cause she has been known to crawl in by herself fully dressed! She likes to splash and kick, and play with her watering can and rubber duckies. Mama is going to have a good tan by the end of this summer!
