Roman's 5th Bday Party

The basement was all set up for a WHALE of a 5th birthday party...






 Unfortunately, the birthday boy had spent all morning at the doctor's office because he had PINK EYE.  Mommy cried a little when he wasn't looking.  About half of his guests opted to not be exposed, so it was a very INTIMATE affair.  Luckily, he was pretty chill about the whole thing and while he was mad that his best boy buddies couldn't make it, he was overall very happy with his day.

A few games:  Feed the Shark, Fishie Fishe, who's got the Fishie, And Pin the Fish in the Fishbowl.




 I have loved this past year with my boy.  He is so precious to me.  I wouldn't trade him for all the fish in the sea.

Simmin' in the Simmin' Pool!

So, our outdoor baby has a new love of her life- "Simmin' in the simmin' pool!" I think she would be out there all day if I let her! In fact, I have to watch her really carefully when we are just playing in the backyard, cause she has been known to crawl in by herself fully dressed! She likes to splash and kick, and play with her watering can and rubber duckies. Mama is going to have a good tan by the end of this summer!
