Christmas- Brummett Style

Christmas Eve we got all spiffed and shined and went to church.

 Afterwords, NeeNee joined us for dinner, Pj's and a Movie.
 These kiddos were ready for Santa!
 Oh, and Caleb was too.
 In the morning, what to our wondering eyes should appear... Santa brought us just what we asked for!  Loralie got a Master Chef Junior apron and cookbook.

Roman got a snowman... sort of.
 Loralie's three grifts from Mommy and Daddy were:  Rollerskates, a light bright, and Legos.
 Roman got a remote control car, a marble run, and "boy" dress up clothes.  Hehehe
Later, Matt, Becca and Ada joined us for brunch and more presents!
 Family pic.  Please ignore the totally unflattering angle of me.  I had to push the button and run!  LOL.
 I got my brother this awesome t-shirt, along with a bunch of "Manly" stuff, per his request.
Tonight we will just relax with the kiddos, eat some leftovers, and watch some movies.  Tomorrow we head to Bolivar for Christmas number two!

It's amazing how your life can change in a single minute. Simmin' in the Simmin' Pool!

So, our outdoor baby has a new love of her life- "Simmin' in the simmin' pool!" I think she would be out there all day if I let her! In fact, I have to watch her really carefully when we are just playing in the backyard, cause she has been known to crawl in by herself fully dressed! She likes to splash and kick, and play with her watering can and rubber duckies. Mama is going to have a good tan by the end of this summer!

The Cousins Visit!

Loralie has been eagerly awaiting the arrival of her COUSINS! Starting last week she has been constantly asking when "Michael and Daniel gonna come see me???" and on Monday night THEY ARRIVED! Tuesday morning Caleb took his brother Levi with him to work and Robyn and I took the kiddos to the Under the Sea playland at Crown Center. They ran around like crazy for a few hours, enjoying the seaweed forrest, the mermaid house, and the pirate ship! Then we went to the crayola store and did a little doodling. Lunch was delivered via choo-choo at Fritz's (man, that place is LOUD.) Then we went home and took much needed naps! The evening brought more fun and energy exertion at the Moonbounce place at the Zona Rosa. Loralie was excited that she could do the big ladders and slides all by herself.
