Roman's Tremendous Twos

Well, I am a few weeks behind, but here is Roman's two year update!

As you can see by the growth chart picture, he is growing like crazy!  Four inches in six months!  I will be interested to see his percentages at his two year check up!

Current Nickbames- Bubba, Bubby, Romey, Sugar Booger

Favorite Foods- He will eat darn near anything you put in front of him, and I have tested the limits quite a bit!  Whole grain pita with hummus and sautéed veggies?  "Pizza!"  He will eat an entire one himself!  Asparagus? Yup.  Shrimp?  Yup.  Couscous?  Yup yup!  The one thing he always always spits back out?  Ice cream.  Too cold!

Play:  He got a "truckload" of toys between Christmas and Birthday!  His favorite?  Probably Legos and anything with wheels!  He is not nearly as active as his sister.  You are more likely to find him reading a book that jumping off furniture.

Friends:  His most favorite person is still his sister.  He tries to do everything that she does.  He will carry my hot pink lunch sack around saying "backpack!  Backpack mama!"  Just like big sister.  He rarely throws all out temper tantrums (though he does fuss and scream plenty) but the few times he has thrown himself on the floor in a rage have been at Loralie's preschool when it's time to leave!  He loves going to the gym and to Sunday school.  He has had a few play dates with Gage McGregor and Micah Langdon.

Quirks:  He does that universal toddler thing where he will hand you something that you just set down.  He has even taken my phone out of my hand to hand it to me.  He loves shoes and will wear Loralie's kitten heels around the house, much to his fathers dismay.  He liked to say "don touch it! No no Moman!" Just before he touches the thing he's not supposed to touch.

Learning:  Well, he speaks fluent English, but that's about all we have accomplished so far!  We haven't worked on colors, shapes or counting... He tries to sing the Abcs but he just makes different sounds to the tune.  Second child.  I am not that worried about it!  He will get it eventually!  He is really smart!

He is very snugly and sweet, especially close to bedtime.  He lets me hug and kiss him all day long!  Love my two year old!
