Tidings of Comfort and Joy

Let's see... What have we been up to lately?  We took these two ya-hoo's to go see "Frozen".  They loved it!
Our elf has been doing some mildly creative stuff but nothing to write home about...
We had a pretty epic gingerbread house fail...
And the girls made Christmas cookies.  This is me trying not to be a control freak!  
We had our first big snow storm last night and Loralie grabbed a baby carrot out of the fridge first thing this morning and declared she wanted to build a snowman but Caleb somehow got her to shovel the driveway instead!

It's amazing how your life can change in a single minute. Simmin' in the Simmin' Pool!

So, our outdoor baby has a new love of her life- "Simmin' in the simmin' pool!" I think she would be out there all day if I let her! In fact, I have to watch her really carefully when we are just playing in the backyard, cause she has been known to crawl in by herself fully dressed! She likes to splash and kick, and play with her watering can and rubber duckies. Mama is going to have a good tan by the end of this summer!
