Our sweet girl turned two and a half last month! But if you ask her how old she is, most of the time she says "I ten." Here are her current stats:
She loves reading, coloring, playing with play dough, doing "projects", playing in her sand box, and going to church.
She is still pretty shy in groups, and tends to stick pretty close to mommy if she is in a strange environment or if there are a lot of other kids around.
She has the sweetest little spirit and is very kind hearted. If she accidentally bumps you or steps on you she will say "Oh, I sorry."
She currently likes to play "baby" where she crawls on the floor and talks like a baby and does a lot of fake crying.
She loves to go to the park to play on swings and slides.
If you tell her "I love you the best" she will answer with "No, I love you the best!"
She loves anything princessy, especially Rapunzel, and likes to dangle things (blankets, scarves, ribbons) off of our catwalks saying it is her hair.
She wants to wear "pretty dresses" every day, which will be fine in the summer, but it has been like forty degrees here the last month, so we have had to compromise with a bunch of long sleeved T-shirts and leggings underneath her "prettiness". It sometimes results in some weird looking outfits, but I am okay with that.
Confession: Loralie had a very favorite dress up item that she had started wanting to wear every single day. It was a white slip in a size 5T, see through and way too big (A hand me down from a neighbor). For some reason, Loralie had decided that this was the most beautiful-ist fancy dress of all. It was driving me a little crazy, so I got rid of it. *cringe* Poor girl looked for that thing all day yesterday. I felt pretty bad, but she does had a TON of other dress up items that are not considered underwear and properly cover her nakedness!
