Spelling Tuesday

We finally made it to the beach!  Mom got some sun, Loralie got to scour for treasure with her metal detector, and Roman got to dig in the sand! We ended the day with tacos overlooking the beach. Pretty great day!

We piled in the car and made an escape from the cold gloomy weather of Kansas City and headed south! The kids were great in the car (everyone listened to audiobooks and they were basically silent the entire way!)

Caleb’s latest trip to Texas res ulted in a whole bunch of dead pigs. Let’s keep these precious memories forever.  Nothing sexier than a man in bloody coveralls.

While Daddy was away shooting hogs in Texas, me and the kids went on a little adventure. We explored some local history at a few museums in St. Joeseph.  Roman liked the old cars and trains. Loralie liked the fancy old stuff, particularly the fainting couch! This was the room where Jessie James was shot. Lots of fun!
