Spelling Tuesday

Sometimes a mom just needs to each unreasonable amounts of chips and queso with her friends. Sometimes a mom just needs to go to Silver Dolkar City and not have to push a stroller. Sometimes a mom needs to cut lose and be silly! Sometimes a Mom needs to dress up like an old timey hooker and play with a fake gun. Sometimes a mom needs to try all the wines that Missouri makes. And laugh when rolls don't get caught! A fun and exciting mom-cation!            

Last night was our final night of AWANAS and my last night ever to have a Cubbie!  Roman did a great job at his awards ceremony.  I could hear him reciting his verses louder than anyone!  I'm so proud of this little guy for his kind heart and his love for Jesus.  He is going to do great things for God's kingdom!      

Loralie's school hosted a STEM night (science, technology, engineering, math) and i have never seen her more excited at a school event.  This kid is gonna be a mover and a shaker and a world changer.  There were two different tables where Loralie asked a question and the person running the table was like, "Huh. No one else has asked that!"  She has a beautiful creative mind and I can't wait to see what she will do with it!      

The Lenz family celebrated Eater with style today.  The kids dyed eggs and made resurrection rolls last night (which they kept calling "construction rolls"). Their baskets arrived stuffed to the gills.  Loralie's had a unicorn theme and Roman's had a dinosaur robot theme. We got all dressed up and went to church.  The kids were so good!  No bathroom breaks!  No loudness!  No falling in the cracks of the theater style seats! Then we invited friends and family to join us for a potluck and egg hunt. Evelyn and Ada made an appearance! Lots of kids and fun and food. Happy Easter!
