Spelling Tuesday

I have been bible journaling for the last month and I LOVE it.  I look forward to the moments of quiet each morning.  The quiet reading and prayer time, the creative outlet.  But one unexpected benefit is that my kids have been watching and imitating me.  Roman has asked "How do you know what to draw?" And I told him "I pray and ask God, then I read my bible!"  This morning I heard him pray "Dear God, what should I learn today?"  And later I found him hard at work on this: "It's Jesus washing feet!" Praise God!

As the summer is drawing to a close I wanted to update you on some major milestones for this dapper dude... First of all, yes, he is wearing a suit.  It's his current favorite outfit.  Sometimes he wears a tee shirt under it, sometimes he likes the no-shirt look.  He usually pairs it with flip flops. I just go with it. So milestones- NO MORE PULL UPS!  I will not be giving pampers another cent!  We ran out, and I was like "you are a man now son," and he hasn't had a wet bed in two nights!!!!  Yippee! Also- Caleb got him to swim without floaties!  That seems pretty impressive to me.  We might be slow at nighttime potty training, but our 4.5 year old knows how to swim!  Click on link to watch him go! http://youtu.be/Q2wZrX0jNkA
